Hello dA-world I'm back!

Well this is no April Fools' Day joke - I mean it! 
deviantArt is still one of the pages where I experienced the best community so far. But in the last years I didn't do alot on any page. Some uploads here and there but I still have so much backlog for editing reaching back as far as 2013! (don't ask me how I managed to be this far behind)
Non the less I'll try to be more active here and anywhere else again.
I decided I'll put full galleries of shootings on flickr as well as animexx. So feel free to follow me there if you're there too (link to both: linkkle.com/BlueHurricane)!

Hey what's up guys?
It's been some time since the last journal.
I've been busy with a lot of stuff lately. Taking photos, going on conventions, visiting friends, doing some cosplayshoots.
There are already three new cosplays in line waiting to be published here but I have to wait for the "OK" from the photographer of two of these and the third one has to get one final touch via editing.
Meanwhile I'm currently sewing on another cosplay for a contest here in Europe. As soon as it's finished I will upload one or two photos of it on here.
Until then you can follow me on Twitter as I will post some progress pictures from time to time if you're interested. (BlueHurricane on Twitter)

So the deal is: you have to visit my page as the 9999th viewer (it's displayed above in the statistics button as pageviews), take a screenshot of it and show it to me via upload here or via a note with a link. The winner gets his name written on one of my next cosplay-deviations, you can also make a wish from which character I post something (it should be a character I already cosplayed or plan to cosplay).

It's now my 4th year here on dA and I'm really glad to see so much fine art and also that some of you seem to like my stuff. Thank you very much for the support until now! <3
I'm trying my best to improve myself every day and hope you will still like my new uploads and stick to me for a long time!
How was your start in 2013? The first quarter of the year is nearly over. For me it was a bit of a hard time but finally it really gets better by now and I'm all fired up again for living. I hope your first quarter was way better.
What awaits you from me in 2013?
I will try to finally get the filming for some of my short movies on track. Also there will be more drawings coming up as I got some inspirations for a good story the last months. But first I will have to improve some of my drawing skills...
Next of course there will be a lot of new cosplay photos which I want to show you. Some of the cosplays aren't mentioned in my meme for 2013 but are planned since about 3 years.
And not to forget I wanna do some photoshoots with cosplayers and some other things I want to catch with my camera.

Here I wanna feature some really impressive artists now. You really should check them out as they do some amazing works in my opinion!

She's a German cosplayer and photographer. She cosplays for about three years now and did some amazing progress in this time!

She's also a German cosplayer. I really like here variability in terms of appearance during cosplay.

She makes charms and plushies, is a cosplayer and also a very beautiful girl. She's a very talented person. You really should check her out and keep an eye on her as she seems to do a lot more awesome cosplays in the future.

Zelda: Song of Time - Doomsday Flashmob

the year is comming to its end and so does the world...if you believe what maya-calenders & commercials are saying.
So why not taking on it too and have some fun?

Oh I almost forgot to tell you. Last convention of this year was some weeks ago (AniMaco).
I had a lot of fun there, met some old friends & went for a meal or two with them. So just some chilled out convention weekend. Of course we took photos this weekend too and a few new cosplay photos will be up ASAP.

Cut-in History

Well hello again. It's been already six month since the last jounal, like most of the times I'm writing this.
At first some really big news: I finally got accepted at media & communication science!! I'm so happy about this!
My third semester at university is starting in about a month and I still have one exam in front of me from this semester.
Next up will be two conventions here in Germany. So I will be a bit busy with sewing I think.
First new cosplay will be Shaolan www.zerochan.net/387035#full
together with
(as Sakura), 
(as Kurogane) and 
(as Faye).
The second one will be Ragna the Bloodedge (BlazBlue) with some minor modifications on the cosplay
together with
(as Litchi) and 
(as Taokaka).
I'm really looking forward to the cosplays themself as well as cosplaying with my friends. <3
Now in this journal I want to introduce you to my new little project 'Cut-in History'. This will feature the major consoles of Nintendo from SNES to the Wii.
